So I am sure this is a shock to all you Hunger Games fans out there 

butt..... I have not read the book.

With school, work and hanging out with my husband I do not have much time for reading.

I decided with Spring Break around the corner I could probably squeeze in some extra me time for reading and figured that the Hunger Games was the perfect choice.

My Kindle very much is appreciating the love

I am about 30 pages in and I am definitely hooked

I am however disappointed to say that while the easiness of this read is upper elementary, the content is not as much. I have seen many elementary and even early middle grades student reading this and while it could be a starting point for great discussion among families and their children, I highly doubt that is what is happening. 

However I will be finishing the first book over break and possibly starting the second one since we do have 8 hours worth of driving during our trip to and from Charleston.  

I'm In I'm In!!!

So it final happened!

I recieved my first acceptance letter to Graduate School 

My precious NC State I will be glad to grace your presence for another year!!!

I am still waiting on a few more letters but NC State and Meredith were my top choices..

If I get in both I will have a tough decision to make!!

I thought I was going to have to retire them when the two piece came out during the first wear of the year.

They are my favorite ones

This beautiful bone color goes with everything

But thanks to the wonderful shoe cobbler

They are as good as new

So if you ever need shoes repaired I would recommend them 100%

They dyed my wedding shoes a very pretty blush pink and they fixed my toe piece and resoled my jacks

I forever owe them :)

The hubs and I are going to spend 4 wonderful days in Charleston SC

Andrew and I have been together for about 6 years and I have taken him numerous times to our house in Charleston

But still we never run out of things to do :)

We plan on touring Fort Sumter with a river boat cruise

Visitng the Charleston Tea Plantation and FireFly Vodka Distillary (This is my drink of choice so I am really excisted about this one)

Take some carriage rides and do some shopping downtown

Just to name a few :)

Happy Early Anniversary to the Tuckers :)

Andrew bought us tickets to see Wicked the day after our anniversary 

I am so spoiled by my wonderful husband. 

We are big time celebrating our anniversary with our cruise in June once I'm done with the kiddies for the summer so I can't wait

I have some surprises for him the day of since we took it off and Andrew was supposed to take care of planning dinner so this was such a surprise!

(We took the day off since our first anniversary was on a Monday )

So I love new recipies and with the millions of cookbooks I recieved for Christmas and my birthday I am a brand new betty crocker and my husband is loving it!!

And today was that day.

Idk what it was but today was an off day for my kids

Some teachers blamed it on the full moon, some on this solar flare thing from the sun

All i know is I didn't like it

So after work I headed straight for the mall

I needed some me time desperately

A New Addition

So last week I told you I had a surprise and I do

My family is getting a new addition and I couldn't be more excited

My new sister Ava Gray Hart will brace us with her adorable presence in August!

So our family of 4 is now a family of 5! My parents were really young when they had me ( about 17 ish for my mother) So they are still really young and excited about this new and surprise journey!

I am so excited and my sister and I are throwing my wonderful mother a shower at a surprise location in August!

So for now I will be pinning tons of baby stuff to spoil our new baby sister :)
